Dreams without limits

Butterfly

Amethyst from Brazil, bronze.

I found this magnificent amethyst in the depths of the Rio Grande in 2021 after two days on laterite roads at the Brazilian-Argentina border. The miners let me enter the heart and center of their mine, which let me fulfil my childhood dream. I then sculpted these lianas and brought them to a Fonderie Fusion in Charbonnières-les-Vieilles, which cast the bronze.

In this piece of art, the vines are the support of the stone of spirituality. They come from the earth, because we need an anchor, but they are cut from it because it’s sometimes difficult for the spiritual to be anchored into reality. They support the stone but also go beyond it as well. They would like to pull it even higher.

Sculpture with amber and 23-carat gilding, in the shape of a rock.

Positive rock I

Latvian Amber - Solid 18 carat gold - 22 carat gold leaf plating.

Whilst sculpting this rock, I wanted to create a rock of positive energy to promote the happiness of its owner. Amber was the first stone I wanted to work with. I have been fascinated by the energy of this fossilized resin since my stay in Latvia in 1993. It’s a stone that develops positivity enormously. And to amplify its vibrations, before plating it with 22 carat gold, I inlaid a solid gold ring in the rock.

Volcano

Etna lava - Latvian Amber - 23 carat gold leaf plating.

I have always been passionate about volcanoes. In 2020 I had the great fortune to be able to approach fifty meters from the crater of Pacaya in full eruption.

For this agave, I collected lava at the top of Etna, in July 2021, a few meters from the edge of the crater, the day after an eruption that covered the entire region with lapilli in one hour. This lava has an inner strength that exudes the magnificent energies of Amber.

This piece of art is my volcano of energy.

Positive rock II

Lithuanian Amber – Solid 18 carat gold – moongold leaf plating (91% gold, 5% palladium, 5% silver).

Here my wish was to create a flame of positive energy to promote the happiness of its owner. Amber was the first stone I wanted to work with. I have been fascinated by the energy of this fossilized resin since my stay in Latvia in 1993. Before plating it, I inlaid a solid gold ring in the rock to amplify its vibrations, its resonance and the positive energy of the Amber.

Meteorite - Positive rock III

Latvian Amber - 22 carat gold leaf plating.

A client, after seeing my first two creations in amber and gold, asked me to sculpt a piece of art for her entrance, a ball of positive energy to welcome her guests.

I invented this levitating meteorite, which glows in the sun during the day and lights up the room at night.
